Yesterday I went to Toys R Us to pick up my copy of Halo 3 ODST. I knew there was an action figure included and a $20 gift card too. What a deal! almost $32 of free shit for buying a game I was gonna get anyway. Also they had a buy a PS2 game $19.99 and under and get one free deal. I found two for $9.99 and easily found a third. So for $20 I got three old school PS2 games I can play ... whenever I have time for that. Jimmy!

Contrary to what you may have read on a less than reliable internet website, there was never any intention of releasing Halo for the PS2. It may have been anticipated by PS2 owners at the time since the Xbox hadn 't been released and it only seemed natural that the game would come to the PS2 (since it was the most popular console at the time), but it was never more than an unconfirmed rumor. Even if Bungie had toyed around with the idea of porting the game over to the PS2, that would have gone down the drain when Microsoft bought into Bungie Studios. There is NO PS2 version of Halo, there never was, and there never will be.

Just because it says there was a ps2 version DOESNp'T make it true. Like I said before, unless you can come up with a RELIABLE source of your information (for instance, from BUNGIE - the company that makes the Halo games) then itf's of no consequence HOW many e"cheat and reviewd" sites name Halo as a ps2 game. It simply never was and never will be. It was a RUMOR that Halo was going to be designed for the ps2, it was NEVER confirmed by any reputable source (most importantly the company that makes the games). If you cant't seem to get that through your head, then have fun searching for your ps2 version of a game that never existed.

sorry if i caused any frustration, anyway why would you want halo on playstation from my prespective it belongs on the xbox it felt wierd using the ps2 controller for it, im not a fanboy i have a both systems and 360 and ps3 its just that certain games belong on certain systems halo is just one of those games in my opinion
