Zombie Doom Views
The basic Doom 3 Zombie is a reinterpretation of the classic Former Human. They were once UAC civilians, now possessed by evil spirits. A scripted event early in the game shows scientist Jonathan Ishii coming into contact with a transparent ghost skull , which turns him into a Zombie. The demonic force that creates Zombies does not differentiate between the living and the dead, slain humans will be re-animated as Zombies, and do not seem to be any less powerful than the ones created through possession of a living host.
Zombies come in differently-colored clothes like the original zombie soldiers and have other minor characteristics in common with the classic zombie soldiers, such as one zombie type having withered hair (compared to the classic Zombieman's green hair). The basic Zombies in Doom 3 do not carry firearms like the Z-Secs, though a few may use wrenches and flashlights as clubs.
A kind of tranquility came over me as I sat watching Zombie Doom. It came around ten minutes into the film, or video, I should say. I knew, without a doubt, that I was watching the worst movie I had ever seen, or would ever see. Most people have seen terrible movies, but how many have seen ones that gave them such a certain feeling of closure? I can check it off of my life's to-do list. Next is skydiving.
Part 2 of my GRINDHOUSE DOUBLE FEATURE is ZOMBIE DOOM SQUAD (Yes, it must be typed in all caps for effect.) This film features the spirited screen debut of linebacker Arney Jackson as DOOM SQUAD member MINT CHIP , who dishes out 31 flavors of pain! Can zombies feel pain? IT DOESN'T MATTER! They will eat it and like it. The always awesome Mr. CrescentDebris did the colors and some lineart tweaks on this one, and really brought my inital illustration to the level of dirty grindhouse camp I was going for with the design. The other feature in this double billing is the The House of Madness , which is The Most Terrifying Tale Ever Told .
