James Last A World Of Music Views
A MUST HAVEI received the VHS James Last - A World of Music for Christmas. I am ordering to give to friends. Once again James Last provides fantastic arrangements (especially of ABBA hits), has total involvement of orchestra and audience, and gives an outstanding performance for what appears to be a packed house. I cannot think of another orchestra leader who is so totally involved during a performance. To see him in person would be a total delight. I also purchased the CD for myself and a friend. SEE IT; THEN HEAR ITA previous VHS James Last - Gentleman of Music defined James Last in the narratives. James Last - A World of Music confirmed it. You can't watch either VHS or listen to the CDs without getting drawn into the music and action. He has a band who knows how to have fun while delivering a spectacular performance. The best way to describe conductor/showman James Last is to imagine a German Lawrence Welk with a much larger budget, and no bubble machine.
