Bionicles The Legend Reborn Views
Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, also known as Bionicle 4: The Legend Reborn, is a direct-to-DVD sequel to the 3 previous Bionicle films, based on the Bionicle toys. It was released on September 15, 2009 in the United States and Canada, October 5, 2009 in the United Kingdom and September 2, 2009 in Australia. It is the last Bionicle movie released, with its possible sequel, Bionicle 5, being scrapped. Instead, the end of the story was posted on BIONICLE.com in web format, titled the Mata Nui Saga .
As the Glatorian and Berix watch the combined efforts of the Agori and the Scarabax Beetles pulling the villages together, they notice that the combined villages form a large robotic body, similar to the one Mata Nui's spirit once inhabited. To further this, Berix pulled out a coin with the Unity-Duty-Destiny symbol, the Bara Magna symbol, and the Mask of Life symbol on one side, and the Skrall symbol on the other. Berix showed them the Skrall shield and deduced that they are both similar to each other and that the mazelike symbol forms a map. With this information in hand, Ackar, Kiina, Gresh, and Berix prepare to set off for their next adventure with a legend... reborn.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment is planning to release a new direct-to-DVD Bionicle movie later this fall, on September 15th. The new CG animated adventure, Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, sees Mata Nui flying through the universe, trapped in the Mask of Life. When he crashes on the shattered planet of Bara Magna, he regains a body ;…and the adventure begins. The DVD features tribes of Vorox, Agori Metus, the Ice Tribe, Sand Bat, the Scarabax Beetle Click, and more! Check out the teaser trailer after the break!
In BIONICLE: THE LEGEND REBORN, Mata Nui’s efforts to promote teamwork seem to go against the nature of the Glatorians, who much prefer single combat and see the needs of their tribes as more important than the needs of their entire race. As an outsider, he has a better perspective on their self-centered culture, but his views are easily disregarded by those who want to maintain the status quo. Only his small group of friends seem to recognize the value of his lesson, but they eventually manage to convince the rest of their people that working together is the only way to prevail; it’s a lesson that is equally important for the Glatorians and young viewers.
