“I also got a fiction book coming out,” Styles confirmed in an interview. “A fiction novel called Mr. Invincible. That’ll be in a couple months, so go support that. I’m getting my author up. I just wanted to make sure I’m comfortable and got a few things I could do that I enjoy doing. I’m a creative person and I like creating. So I just wanted another job where I could create and make some money and doing something that I like to do.” (Forbez DVD)
The book, which Styles describes as a “jail mystery,” is the D-Block rapper’s first foray into the literary world. “I got a fiction book called Mr. Invincible coming out Nicki Turner Presents,” Styles revealed to XXL. “It’s just a fiction joint. It’s a little story.” When asked if he had any help putting the work together Styles replied, “They got a little editing team, but all the writing is me, all the idea is me, all the thought is me. Invincible is hands donw the BEst book i ever readr… and im a reader lol who would have ever thought that styles could write a book Like all i can say is woow it was 1 of thoese book that you cant but down till u done.. Pleases tell me when the next 1 is coming out h…..how about a book on the life of jocelyn ( if u read the book than u should who that is)
I have read the book and I must say Bravo! I have been reading self- improvement or self- help books lately and Invincible I believe have gave me the most guidance. It seems to always amaze me the kind of work and creativity styles (B-block) puts out. I cant wait for another release or DVD of the book. I can really see a mini-series or move coming out for Invincible. Once again thank you for taking rap, hip hop music up another notch.
