Ten minutes into the game, the stand is jumping so much that the Independiente firm member Dyer is with takes them out of the popular and into a safer stand. Independiente take a 2-0 lead, and the Racing fans take matters into their own hands. The game is abandoned due to crowd trouble in the away section. We then meet members of Club Atlético Vélez Sársfield's firm, who take Dyer onto the pitch of their stadium and around the trophy room, something that Dyer would never get back home in his home country of England. Finally he meets Rafa Di Zeo, the leader of the La 12 firm from Boca Juniors. Dyer learns that firms are an integral part of the clubs in Argentina, and that it is very different from just the pre-arranged violence between sets of supporters in the English game.

Hablamos de Rafael Di Zeo, el auténtico cacique del barrio de La Boca, el que corta el bacalao, quien verdaderamente mueve los hilos, foco de muchas críticas pero igualmente un líder de masas que firma autógrafos allá donde va y recibe piropos del mismísimo Diego Armando Maradona. El Rafa, como así es conocido, cuenta con poco más de cuarenta años, descendiente de padre italiano y madre española. Su acento en cambio, es bien argentino y a día de hoy es el líder de la barra de Boca, la Doce, y uno de los hombres con más peso en el mundo Xeneize. Ríanse de Mauricio Macri, el presidente. Di Zeo es ese tipo de hombres que se sube al tren en el momento justo. Así lo hizo cuando se ganó la confianza del mítico líder de la Doce, José Barrita, El Abuelo, y así lo hizo otra vez cuando éste fue a la cárcel y le hizo la cama junto a su hermano Fernando para tomar el mando de la barra bostera. Desde finales de los noventa es el Rafa el que domina el asunto y en todo ese tiempo su figura se ha convertido en auténtico mito que sobrepasa todas las esferas sociales. Así de simple y de fuerte.
