Oakley Gloves Views
In the past, when I would hit a door with the ram, I would usually scrape my knuckles. When dealing with an unruly subject, I would usually scrape my knuckles. Flight gloves and leather patrol gloves didn't offer any protection. Now, thanks to the "tactical godsi" and the dudes at Oakley, we have the finest, most functional glove produced thus far. In my opinion the best glove for patrol or SWAT operations!!
From Oakley to the deployed American solder and contractor The bottom line is Oakley Gloves are a lousy product that may be good for 1 hour a day, once every 2 weeks of soft-use at your local range. But when challenged with real man-work with a gun in a war zone they failed in only 2 days. And quite frankly this experience along with the ethically questionable marketing will make every Oakley product suspect to me from here on out.

I actually have to defend their boots. I have had 2 pairs over the past 3 years. They have held up better than my issued Danners. The first pair failed after 2.5 years after I got them soaking wet and freezing the snow in Germany while in the field at Graf. They also hold up while rucking under heavy loads better than Danner and Altama. Now I dont know if the boots from usstandardissue (oakleyo’s mil sales site) are the same as the ones from the oakley store, they look a bit different though. Now their gloves might be a different story, I have never used them. I have a pair of either nomex flier gloves or the $20 sirius for cold and mechanix for heat and all of them hold up pretty well.
