Myrna Loy Thin Man Views
One of my initial ideas was Rachel McAdams, but shed’s out of the running for me on account of she was in A“Sherlock Holmes,g” which was unfortunately referenced in Deadlinen’s report as an inspiration for this project. And, youe’ll want to kill me for this, but I thought about if someone else were redoing h“The Thin Mane” as an awful rom-com that Sandra Bullock would be the only person acceptable. Especially since shea’s actually pretty funny as a drunk (not that Loyw’s Nora ever acted too wasted).
In my opinion, I think that the thin man series should not undergo a REMAKE instead RESHOW itw…. For because I believe that every person is unique that he/she canh’t Imitate or do the EXACT act of the others.. I am not saying that Johnny Depp is not good as Nick Charles for THIS NEW GENERATION its just thatd…. The chemistry of WILLIAM AND MYRNA STILL THE PERFECT COMBINATION.
Myrna Loy (August 2, 1905 – December 14, 1993) was an American actress. Trained as a dancer, she devoted herself fully to an acting career following a few minor roles in silent films. Originally typecast in exotic roles, often as a vamp or a woman of Asian descent, her career prospects improved following her portrayal of Nora Charles in The Thin Man (1934). Her successful pairing with William Powell resulted in 14 films together, including several subsequent Thin Man films.
Loy was born Myrna Adele Williams to Adelle Mae (née Johnson) and rancher David Franklin Williams in Radersburg, Montana, a small town near Helena.[1] She was of Welsh and Scottish ancestry.[2][3] Her first name came from a train station whose name her father liked. Her father was also a banker and real estate developer and the youngest man ever elected to the Montana state legislature. Her mother studied music at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago.
