It’s made of aluminum, not plastic, by a company whose hallmark is providing value and quality in telescopes for astronomers. The 55mm lens offers 2.5x magnification and it has built-in LEDs; press the button once to turn on 4 LEDs, twice to turn on 8. Great for map reading, or for working on projects that have details that aren’t as easy to see as they used to be. It’s about 8” long; takes two AA batteries and comes in a padded wooden case.
