Last Minute Patchwork Quilted Gifts Views
Last night, as all of us in Jackson enjoyed the last cold snap before the blaring summer heat, I curled up in one of my very own homemade quilts. Not only was I protected from the biting chill that had somehow crept into the house, but I also felt a great sense of pride in using something that I had made entirely from scratch. As of today, I have made four such quilts, and all of them follow patterns from the book Last-Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson.
Hi Emily, I found your website through googling projects made by Patchwork and Quilted Gifts book. I just love your write up. I LOVE this book. I have only made one thing out of it, completing a pinchushion last night that turned out darling. I am from canada and was to a quilt show in Vermont when I discovered this beautiful book, I just had to have it and can-’t wait to make more of the projects inside. I am thinking of doing the quilted coasters next and then that sweet sweet sweeeeet little peanut the elephant. Anyways, just wanted to say hi and tell you that there is another Patchwork and Quilted Gifts fan. Great job on your projects btw! p.sa…I was thinking of emailing the author to see if she could set up a flickr group for all of us to share our projects we did out of her book.
