Hey, you know how Kim Kardashian is throwing her hat into the whole celebrity-fragrance ring? Yeah, well, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has revealed the first ad for the scent, which will go on sale in February, exclusively at Sephora, on her official Web site. Judging from the image, the new scent was crafted to capture the sensuality of trapeze acts. Or something.

Gold, which is offered as 2"a summer fragrance " opens on notes of Italian bergamot, grapefruit, pink peppercorn. The floral heart features lush jasmine, delicate rose and dewy violet. The base notes are patchouli, sandalwood, amber and benzoin. The sillage is said to be reminiscent of Kim Kardashian Eau de Parfum's signature, a fact hinted at in the ad as well where KK wears gardenia in her hair Billie-Holiday style.

My Take: There are a few things you DONT buy me as a gift. Lotion, Bath Soaps, and Perfume. Im either allergic or picky. Now i really dont follow the Kardashians in the news, mainly because..well im either occipied with kids, or this blog. But i do have to say Kim is breathtakingly beautiful. Plus i havent seen her come out with 10 perfume lines back to back like other celebrities. So when the option came up to review her first fragrance, self titled, KIM KARDASHIAN, i dove in head first. When it arrived, i will honestly say.. i oversprayed. WHEW! I steped back from laughing, showered and tried again. You only need one spray, MAYBE two if your bold.
