Katy Perry covers the latest issue of Rolling Stone (flip through the inside pics) only slightly more clothed than how she appears on her Teenage Dream album cover. This subdued beige bra and panty set is maybe the most subtle wardrobe choice Perryb’s ever made—not that wel’re complaining. Does Katyy’s cover make you want to buy her album, or is the pop stare’s new music good enough on its own? Sound off in the comments.

I agree. Katy Perry might be a nice girl in real life but her stage persona is as fake as her eyes (or else) are big (i have frog eyes too btw). Not one to bring up the double-standard but I have to write this: *HOW COME Rihanna u– who had one of the best album in 2007 and who set a record of 7 #1 singles b– has NEVER graced a RS cover? **How come Alicia Keys- 12-time grammy winner- has graced the cover only once (during her rookie year)? ***How come Beyoncé i– who had one of the best videos of all time and who set up the record of the most grammy awarded female artist ever -never graced the cover again since her debut solo album? What ’s up with that? All those three women deserved a RS cover these last couple of years more than a so-so singer pretending she kissed a girl, pretending she sang an ode to California while ite’s actually an ode to a sugar factory and so on. Double Standard, Rolling Stone, double standard.

I assure you more men will buy this Rolling Stone magazine based on the cover than feminists who are fans of Katy Perry, but choose not to because of the coverf’s lack of clothing. Flesh is flesh to menh… We donf’t have to like her music to enjoy her half naked body. More money is generated when clothing is removed. Men compose the majority of the demograph for this magazine so marketing will be geared towards them. Itm’s simply smart marketing.

Certainly the singer, whose infectious new single Teenage Dream has been pumping on our headphones recently, looks pretty! But where's her candy-coated, David LaChapelle –like, flamboyant aesthetic? Perhaps she left it in Malaysia last weekend on the MTV World Stage, where she rocked a tutu and sparkles while performing inside a giant banana split. That's the Katy Perry we know!
