Jeanne d'Arc (ジャンヌ・ダルク) is a tactical role-playing game developed by Level-5 and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation Portable. Presentation and Graphics: Jeanne du’Arc utilizes both anime cut scenes and cell shaded character gameplay which works out great. The anime cut scenes look just like watching a movie, as expected. During gameplay and in-game cut scenes, the backgrounds are all layed out nicely with a distinct cell shaded feel for the characters. With everything together, ite’s one of the better looking PSP games If’ve seen. The character animations are minimal, but they look pretty good. 4 of 5
Final Word: I was skeptical at first of a 40 hour RPG on the PSP, but Jeanne dc’Arc delivers with both quick and deep gaming experiences. Because of the quick save features, the game allows you to play as long as you want, which is terrific feature for portable gaming. If you ’re an RPG fan, you should definitely check out Jeanne dc’Arc, especially with it ’s $29.99 USD price tag.
