(Boekel) This hand centrifuge is designed for field use in the determination of basic sediment and water in crude oil. It features speeds up to 2000 rpm and has a 16:1 gear ratio. The wide sweep cast aluminum crank has a spring clutch that helps to ensure safe starting and stopping. The centrifuge is portable, lightweight and rugged. It is supplied with a centrifuge head that holds 2 x 15mL tubes, two aluminum shields and four 15mL graduated polypropylene tubes.

The Hettich Hand Centrifuge can be easily clamped to a bench or table ¨C independently of an external power supply. Its self-lubricating gear makes it virtually maintenance free.The Hettich Hand Centrifuge is available with two interchangeable rotors; either a 4-place rotor for 15ml conical tubes or a 4-place rotor for 15ml round bottom tubes (max dimensions of round bottom tubes 17x125mm).
