The Grant was an early Christmas gift. It was the only crispy bill I had in the house. (For folding, crispy ones work better than flimsy ones.) If your dream was about folded money Christmas trees, it could mean a lot of things. 1. Money 2. Christmas 3. Origami 4. Curbly. Maybe you done't need a vacation. Maybe you just need to fold origami figures which you can sell to make money for Christmas presents which you can then review for Curbly posts. Or something to that effect.

Not a lot of stamping on it …mostly bling! I started by folding half of a 5 1/4c" circle of Jolly Holiday Designer Paper into the Christmas Tree shape. I like how the folds make it stand out away from the card a little! I pierced a hole in the top and added a Gold Glimmer Brad and a small rectangle of Early Espresso cardstock for the tree trunk. The base card is Old Olive and I ran Very Vanilla cardstock thru the Big Shot with the Petals A Plenty Impressions Folder. I wrapped Old Olive 1 1/4 Stripe Ribbon (LOVE that ribbon!) around and secured on the back.

Folding Christmas trees come in all sizes. If you have a small one, building a tree platform stand from wood can add height and extend the area underneath where you place presents. When building the platform, base its size on that of the tree. For the legs of the stand you can either use four round legs or two pieces of board that run the width of the top piece. Once you have the legs, attach them to the top section and sand down any rough edges. Paint or stain the wood for added visual appeal. This step is especially important if you won't be using a tree skirt.
