Pool pumps are used to circulate pool water. This keeps the water moving and avoids algae from forming due to still water. A filter basket can be added to pumps, such as the PowerMax, to increase the cleaning ability of the unit. Filter baskets trap large particles and debris before the water enters the pump. This protects the pump motor from becoming damaged and also clears the debris from the water before it enters the filter. Filter baskets screw directly onto the pump base, making installation quick and easy.

[0089] Strainer 2 is made of filter paper. It is capable of withstanding boiling water without damage to its filtering effectiveness. To resist tearing, the paper has high wet-strength and a long-fiber content. It also has a color-fast yellow hue to distinguish it from other types of strainer used in filter baskets. A person with ordinary familiarity in the prior art will be able to specify a suitable paper.

In this section, we provide additional filter baskets for the commercial Grindmaster coffee brewers, and the paper coffee filters that fit them. The regular sized filter basket comes in plastic (standard for the Pourover and Automatic models) or in stainless steel (standard for the Precision Brew and Grind'n Brew models). Either basket will fit any of the machines. The standard size is meant for standard 1.9 liter (12 cup) brewing.
