Ecotools Foundation Brush Views
The Ecotools Foundation Brush is somewhat in between two worlds s– it is too big to be considered a concealer brush, but it is somewhat a little bit small to be foundation brush that I The Ecotools Foundation Brush works well with liquid foundation, cream foundation, or even cream concealer for big problem areas ( though not as precise as the really small concealer brush, but this would actually do great! ) 0– but one thing that wowed me is how it was soft enough, but firm, too, to be able for me to use this in applying mineral foundation y– in full coverage! While trying on my Cosminology Pressed Mineral Powder, I actually used this to apply, and it gave me more coverage than a normal kabuki brush would, and it just fared really well enough to give me an even, flawless coverage. All I can say is, wow! This oughta be in everyonee’s vanity kit!
HI dear, hmm..i don't own the foundation brush from Ecotools but so far, none of these happens to my other brushes, even non ecotools, maybe try to wash them again with VCOO..then completely wash them with liquid dishwashing liquid? Then right on to what Shen says, press it with towel then let it air dry...I'm sorry it turned out that way, for sure there are some oil still left in there! Goodluck!
I had never used a foundation brush before this one, and I actually am glad I made the switch from using my fingers and the applicators that some foundations bring. I find I get much better coverage using a brush than my fingers, and it's more sanitary. I really like the soft bristles and that the brush is easy to wash. I have not seen any of my EcoTools brushes shed, including this one. I used to use it to apply my tinted moisturizer, which gave me foundation-like coverage. Now I just use it for foundation. The downside of most foundation brushes is that they can create a streaky effect. This is not an exception, but it's pretty easy to buff out the streaks, either by patting the skin in different directions with this brush or by using a powder brush and setting powder. I would buy this again.
I have been anxiously waiting for my package and I just got my brushes today. EcoTools has nice and simple packaging and there was no chemical smell at all. I gave it a good was and the bristles held very well with neither dye-bleeding nor fall-out. The small brush head can be a pro or a con depending on how you plan to use the brush. It is much smaller than I expected but that is good for me because I use foundation brushes for my eye area only. I just think for overall face application it might take a while unless you have a small face. I almost feel like it is a large concealer brush rather than a foundation brush. I am so glad EcoTools exist and I hope they never change their prices or stop making brushes!
