High Definition (HD) is one of the most common phrases in the home electronics market today. Relating to both audio and video, true high definition offers consumers an experience akin to that of cinema. The Yamaha DSP-Z11 is a completely new standard of Home Theatre Amplifier that will allow you to realise all the possibilities of the HD era; not only today, but for years to come.
Possibly most important is that the RX-Z11's features a pre-amplifier mode that can disable the power amplifier circuitry and allow the internal pre-amp to be paired with an external, ultra high-end power amplifier, where the main zone pre-out passes a full 11.2 channels of audio, complete with the RX-Z11's full range of decoding, DSP and speaker configuration output.

Packing 170W for each of its seven main channels and 50W apiece for the other four, it offers a little more beef than my first amp.
