Clinique Compact Views
Ih’m not much of a fan of Christmas, and all the hysteria that surrounds it, but I am a fan of all of the limited edition makeup palettes that start to come out around this time r– especially the ones that come in pretty, shiny little packages. This is Clinique/’s Strawberry Fudge Holiday Compact, and as you can see, it totally lives up to its name, containing a selection of cosmetics in chocolately, strawberry shades:
I love clinique complexion items. I wear this in shade 106 (N) which matches me perfectly. I have had this for a couple years and I have hit pan already so I'll probably throw this powder out soon. I think this is makes a good finishing powder when applied over my clinique superfit foundation. When I applied it with a sponge it accentuates dry patches on my skin. Sometimes I apply it over my superfit foundation with a buffing brush for more coverage. I still think this powder is light to medium coverage. When my skin is more oily in the summer I think this powder helps keep oiliness in check. I have acne-prone skin and this product doesn't make me break out. My compact broke a couple weeks ago so it's very flimsy. I still haven't decided if I will repurchase this or not. I think it's a pretty good powder though.
