Christmas lights have been one of the most popular Christmas decorations for the past century. In 1882, three years after Edison invented the first sensible light bulb, Edward H. Johnson created the first Christmas lights in his home in New York City. The tree was hand-wired and lit with 80 red, white, and blue globes. The lights blinked and twinkled while the tree slowly revolved.
C7 Christmas light bulbs are traditional incandescent glass bulbs that are about 2 inches long with a 1.5 inch long bulb. They have the same base as a night light replacement bulb. We have had customers call in specifically for this reason because they wanted a pink nightlight for a little girl's room or some other colored bulb to match their color scheme.
Our C7 Christmas lights are fashioned after what some people remember and regard as a more traditional Christmas light bulb. We offer three different styles of this timeless traditional bulb. We have strings of transparent bulbs, opaque bulbs, and our twinkle lights just in case you'd like a bit of movement in your light display.
