The show was titled after the song used as its theme music and opening sequence music, Chaotic. The song was played before commercial cuts, and was later included on the EP released alongside the DVD as the opening track. The series included five episodes that debuted weekly every Tuesday at 9PM ET/PT on UPN between the dates of May 17 and June 14, 2005, with reruns later appearing on MTV and VH1.[2] Both Federline and Spears are credited as executive producers.

The DVD features the complete series, 30 minutes of bonus unaired footage from their home videos and a wedding album photo gallery.
