I have rosacea and can't use anything irritating. There are only 2 products I can use on my face, neck and chest(the areas that rosacea affects in me), and this is one. I use it as my face and body wash in the shower in the morning and my daily wash on face, neck and chest at night. If I am wearing eye makeup, I use a gentle eye makeup remover. But this works well in cleaning light makeup and the residue of the day without any irritation. I use tepid water to rinse and then use a soft, damp washcloth. A pat dry with a towel and I'm done. I need a moisturizer no matter what cleanser I use, but this does not leave me stinging or irritated, just clean. When I used to have acne, this was the perfect cleanser then, too. I have trusted Cetaphil for 30 years!
