Buck Vanguard Knife Views

The Vanguard series from Buck was highly praised by many sources some years ago, seems to me more like 1998. I have had one since about then because I remember having a new '98 Dodge Cummins dually at the time I got the knife. Regardless they are good decent knives worth the cost. They hold an edge quite well but are a bit difficult to sharpen unless you have a WorkSharp tool. This is much like many of today's blades. Good shape and ergonomics. The black handle version works best in wet bloody conditions but the wooden handle is more attractive. I have the former.
