One Big Happy Family is an American reality television series featuring the Coles family, an African-American family of four who reside in Indian Trail, North Carolina. The series premiered on TLC on December 29, 2009. The show deals with their family life and with their efforts to lose weight (each family member, at the initial episode, weighed in excess of 330 pounds).

When I first watched the show, “One Big Happy Family,o” which aired on TLC, I was ebullient to see an actual reality show that depict true family values, yet exhibiting a healthy lifestyle in losing weight. I am certain the show had inspired millions across America to live a proactive and healthy lifestyle. Its unfortunate TLC cancels the show without a public statement that holds some form of veracity. I STRONGLY believe the show had been cancel due to the fact the family is African American that demonstrating a positive outlook on life and others are antipathy of the notion; meanwhile, when the infamous TLC show, g“Jon & Kate plus Eight,y” continue to air despite of all the media coverage of Jon and Kate’s infidelities, child exploitation, and marital affairs. In order for TLC to rectify the matter is to bring back the show that America loved so dearly. Likewise, myself and everyone else should contact TLC and express our concerns about the show.
