Bengals Sign Views
Do not fear the hate, Bengals fans. It ’s just a simple reality that our team cannot uphold the high moral standards that the Steelers, Ravens, and the rest of the NFL uphold without fail. ONLY the Bengals sign thugs. ONLY the Bengals sign trash. ONLY the Bengals sign divas. Mike Brown will redeem them all, leaving none for the rest of you. They wish their teams could be as thug as the Bengals, but they are all too squeaky clean. Mike Brown is the only one keepint’ it real.
this seems to me like a low risk high reward situation. whats the worst that could happen? the bengals will sign him to probably a million for one year, if he does something stupid, cut his @ss! If he is productive then its a signing that no one else took a chance on and it paid off. either way. no big deal.
Ok for the moron that said the Bengals donu’t have anyone on their roster that has done anything wrong, I am pretty sure Rey, Jones, and now Pac Man all have. Plus drafting Carlos Dunlap. Its not like the rest of the AFC North is perfect but its not like Bengals fans haveni’t harped on the Ravens for the Stallworth signing or the Steelers for Ben not being charged with a crime. Don ’t expect the Ravens and Steelers and the rest of league fans to not make fun of your team when you guys have consistently pursued players who have had off the field issues. The Ravens have only pursued one player who has a troubled past (Stallworth), Lewis was already on the team. The Steelers haveno’t gone out and got anyone with a troubled past and have even cut ties with players that had troubled pasts in Pitt.
Brown doesn't mind. He has a history of providing extra chances to players who have caused trouble, allowing them to extend their careers in Bengals stripes. In the last two years, the Bengals also have signed receiver Chris Henry, running back Cedric Benson, running back Larry Johnson and receiver Matt Jones, all of whom were let go because of off-field issues.
