This Ashes of Problem Students Jar comes with a cork top so you can store money in coins or bills or small trinkets inside.  I like it more simply for the amusing little phrase that is printed across the front of it.  When I was a young and naive teacher, I used to have this little lovely proudly displayed on my desk.  10 years later, I know that students and parents can take things the entirely wrong way and raise holy hell, so I now keep my Ashes of Problem Students Jar in the living room of my house. 

This jar is a great gift for teachers, principals, school nurses, secretaries, etc.  It may not be something that they will display right in their offices, but it is a humorous way to acknowledge that some students just make everyone crazy and produce lots of work for school staff.  I always smile when I see my Ashes of Problem Students Jar and will buy it for any friends or family members who become teachers in the future.  Recommended!
