Arnold Katz Views
Today, Arnold Katz Photography, Inc. is well known for photographing high-end jewelry. Customers include Harry Winston, Ivanka Trump and even Costco’s line of fine jewelry. (www.digitaljewelryphotoghraphy.com). “We’ve become the go-to people for photographing jewelry. We make things sparkle.”
In the beginning, Arnold and David’s working relationship was a bit rocky, Katz says. “But when David went out and brought in a $100,000 account, I could no longer push him around,” he jokes. “We never argue. Not because we don’t agree. We just respect each other. I want to help my son become an icon. My job now is to get him more exposure. Let him outshine me. I’ve had my 15 minutes of fame.”
Katz, 75, has no intention of retiring. “I love what I do. That’s why I’ve been in this business 60 years! Every day is a fresh start. Every phone call is another opportunity. I am one of the lucky ones who have gotten to work in his profession for 60 years…and in the greatest city in the world.
