Ar 15 Front Sight Views
Fully adjustable, fiber optic, front sight gathers and funnels natural sunlight to create a bright, easy-to-see dot for close-up or long range shooting. Steel, sight blade secures a red fiber optic rod with small and large diameter ends (dots). Custom, detent plunger uses your factory detent spring, and allows easy blade reversal from large dot to small, and back again, without changing the blade height setting. Precise, 5/8 MOA click adjustments make fine-tuning quick and easy (Mil-Spec is 1ΒΌ MOA per click). Replaces the standard issue, front sight using the provided tools. Includes additional red, green, and amber fiber optic rods. Military model features a standard, mil-spec width blade with .040 diameter fiber optic rod. Match is a medium width blade with .030 diameter rod for sighting at long ranges. Ultra-Match gives the precision shooter a narrow sight blade with extra small, .020 diameter rod for tiny targets at extreme ranges.
I recently purchased a ProMag front sight mount for my AR-15. I had a front sight mount on the weapon but it was some sort of composite fiber that just didn't do the job. I had a green laser mounted on the front sight but the laser would wander after about 20 rounds. It became apparent the old mount just couldn't put up with any heat. I liked the idea of the front sight mount and was delighted to find this mount made out of steel. Ya! it's heaver but it is quality-solid as a rock. I have the laser mounted on the ProMag and it is exactly what I wanted and expected. The laser holds true and the problem is solved. This is a great product and is very easy to install. Everything you need for installation comes included. The front sight mount (in my opinion) is excellent for a laser and packing your weapon in a gun case doesn't leave the laser sticking out like a wart when it's attached to a side rail. A person could easily attach a light on the other side of the mount.
