The Sonata Plus 550 features the NeoPower 550 modular power supply unit (PSU) giving it the most juice in a Sonata case. You won t hear it though because sound-deadening panels and a user-selectable, 3-speed 120mm case fan provide optimum cooling and whisper-quiet operation. With new High Definition front audio ports it s crystal clear when it comes to producing the sound you want to hear. In today's age of multimedia, data requirements have swelled. That is why the Sonata Plus 550 comes with USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394 (FireWire , iLink ) connectors on the front of the case for convenient data transfer. The NeoPower PSU is equipped with universal input and Active PFC so it will work anywhere in the world. The Sonata Plus 550 is the perfect combination of style, silence and efficiency.

Sonata Plus 550 has four external 5 ffrac14;ird" bays and one of them (the bottom one) can be used to hold a 3 frac12;mrd" floppy disk drive, as it provides a frame to make this possible. This case features two USB ports, one FireWire (IEEE1394) port, mic in jack and headphone out jack. We think a case with this construction level (and price range) should have at least one eSATA port on its front panel, a feature that is becoming more and more common and important, as users are using eSATA-based external hard disk drives to backup their data and/or carry data around.

Silence is stylish with the Sonata Plus 550 from Antec. This mid-tower case minimizes noise while still maintaining a stylish elegance. A 3-speed TriCool 120mm exhaust fan pulls air out of the case keeping things cool. You get a choice between maximum quiet and maximum cool. The air vents on the sides of the front bezel have a washable air filter to minimize dust in the system. A 92mm fan is mounted at the front of the case for dedicated hard drive cooling.
