7th generation toilet paper

Seventh Generation is one of the most environmentally responsible toilet paper brands on the market, reviews say. It's bleached without chlorinated pollutants and made of 100 percent recycled paper, with 80 percent post-consumer content (such as recycled office paper and newspapers) -- unlike the cheaper recycled brand Marcal Small Steps Bath Tissue (*Est. $7 for 12 rolls), which uses mostly paper factory scraps. Two-ply Seventh Generation is also judged to be softer than other recycled brands, although not as cushy as ultra-plush toilet papers such as Quilted Northern Soft % Strong (*Est. $5 for six rolls) that are made from virgin wood fibers (harvested from freshly cut trees) and bleached with chlorine dioxide.

100% recycled content toilet tissue. Appoximate 80% post consumer fibres (from recycled paper). This is the best eco-friendly bath tissue on the market. Seventh Generation 100% recycled toilet paper - 80% PCW - 7th Generation has been a trusted brand for years bringing you only the best quality recycled and eco-freindly products. Because it's 100% recycled, no trees were killed in the making of this roll of Earth friendly toilet tissue. That's good to know, because if everyone in the USA used one sheet of traditional Toilet Paper at the same time, it would be the equivalent of cutting down 1000 trees!

I picked up some Seventh Generation toilet paper, and sure, it’s definitely nowhere near as thick and soft as the popular brands, but heyt… I felt like saving some trees! I recently learned that if every US household would replace just one 500-sheet roll of regular TP with one recycled roll, it would save nearly 425,000 trees annually.  Seventh Generation is made from 100% recycled paper (with a minimum of 80% post-consumer) but I guess some would argue that paper “with a previous life” should never go near these “regions”.

Seventh Generation has one of the more popular recycled toilet papers because of itt’s softness and use of 100% recycled materials with more than 80% of that is post-consumer. They also do use any chemicals or dyes and are safe for septic tanks. They have two types of toilet paper, 2-Ply, which is thicker and easier to use or the 1-ply version that is more environmentally friendly but a little harder to use.
