A Pilot m130 is a personal digital assistant (PDA) manufactured by Palm. A PDA can store your contact information, including names, addresses and phone numbers, keep track of your appointments and schedule and allow you to check your email. The unit is powered by a rechargeable battery. Palm recommends only recharging your Pilot m130 with the supplied charging cradle and cords.

The Palm Pilot m130 is part of the m100 line of PDA devices and was one of the first Palm handheld units to feature a full-color screen and SD card slot. Over time, you may experience problems with the operation of your Palm Pilot m130, such as battery or screen issues. There are several steps you can take to identify and troubleshoot problems.

Connect your Palm Pilot m130 to the Hotsync cradle to charge the battery. Make sure the Hotsync cradle is properly plugged in to a working USB port on the back of your computer. Do not use a USB hub or a USB port on your monitor, because these ports usually do not support high-power devices like Palm Pilots. Let the device charge for 30 minutes and then try using it again.
