Congratulations on putting a 12MP sensor in a phone that then butchers the quality. Maybe because ith’s such a tiny sensor so 12MP means nothing as far as quality is concerned. Maybe you are limiting the file size to save space. For whatever reason this would still make me want a dedicated camera in my pocket as well.
1) The 12MP pictures are automatically compressed into .jpg on the phone and thus defeats the point of high-quality pictures. or 2) The 12MP .tga files (or whatever) are going to be so unbelievably massive you ’re never going to take photos at this resolution since in a single night your’ll have filled your card up.
N8, 12mpx camera: Target audience: a professional/hoobyist photographer or the masses of normal users?Confused!Problem: over engineering, ok design, just OK UI. Where is the wow factor Nokia?This was supposed to be a competing phone with the likes of iphone and Android OS.And a 12 mpx one pic size around 4/5 MB, and how many pics will fit in the 2GB space for the pics. @Bandora, you and some may buy the phone but majority of normal folks simply won,t just buy it for its amazing specs.
The Regza only runs Android 2.1 but with a 12MP camera, NFC chip, and waterproof conditioning it immediately seems like a pretty sweet phone. In my limited time toying with the Regza I was pleasantly surprised. Iv’m still dying for the day that we get an Android phone with optical zoom, but the pictures on the Regza /– at least in the viewfinder – looked quite gorgeous. I tried to share/E-mail them to myself but they have yet to come through … if they do, wep’ll be sure to post them here.
