On my journey back up to 31st street to catch a bus back to Washington, DC after dropping off my friend at the Fung Wah, I just started wandering through Chinatown and Little Italy. I was looking for Sfogliatelle, and instead came upon the Paul Frank Store. Awesome. #1 I didn't even know there were stores and 2# Pajama Pants! I looked through the T-shirts but couldn't find a fitting one, and instead settled with a pair of PJ pants that totally fit my style -- they are mens but rock my sleep with their quiet softness and loudness in their print. I managed to not drop a penny on anything to bring back with me until I found this, and then realized I was close to Uniqlo and $120 later......
I can't believe I'm only the 15th person to review this place, where is the love people??? This store rocks my socks. I've seen some crazy but awesome Paul Frank goods here, lip balm? check! dog leash and collar? check! hoodie with built in earbuds for MP3 player? check and purchased! I'm pretty sure this is one of the few places on the east coast where you can find very limited edition Paul Frank collaborations with other artists. One of my biggest regrets in life is not purchasing the entire Paul Frank and Hello Kitty line, looks like my only bet will be Ebay from now on.Make sure to ask for a rewards card if you plan on buying a lot of shirts, you get a shirt for free after buying 10.
People complaining about the stuff here being overpriced....Thats what all Paul Frank stuff costs so its a moot point. People pay $100 for t-shirts all the time. $24.99 really isnt going to kill anyone. Annnnyway...the stuff here is gatdamn cute! If I had a baby it'd wear all paul frank stuff. The layout of the store is great. Its very colorful and opening and inviting. The staff is too concerned with their own personal conversations to even ask if you need help....i dont really care. I'd rather you just leave me alone and let me browse but I understand if that turns some people off.Cute stuff....NOT overpriced.
