Usmc Firefight Views
A USMC firefighter is a U.S. Marine who has attended firefighting and fire prevention training and is certified as a firefighter. At one time, he held the MOS, or military occupational specialty, of 8811. Almost all Marine firefighters these days are actually aircraft rescue and firefighting specialists who carry the MOS of 7051. They serve as members of Marine air wings and at Marine Corps air stations, among other Marine units and bases.
