Trevor Bryce Views
Trevor Robert Bryce (born 1940) is a Hittitologist specializing in ancient and classical Near-eastern history. His book, The Kingdom of the Hittites, is much read among English speaking readers since the study of the Hittites has predominantly been a German-dominated field.[1] A new improved and updated edition of this popular book, featuring 90 additional pages, was published in 2005 by Professor Bryce.[2] Trevor Bryce is a professor in the School of History, Philosophy, Religion, and Classics at The University of Queensland.

He has also lectured all over the world, including the Smithsonian Institute, Washington DC. In 2004 he was historical consultant for a BBC documentary on the 'Truth of Troy.' He leads a number of historical tours in Greece, Italy, Turkey and Jordan. The author lives in Australia.
