This is a list of Star Wars novels, novellas, and short stories. Beginning with the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace Lucasfilm has divided their titles into different eras with symbols designating such. When I was a kid, the very idea of playing games with friends around the country via a world-wide computer system sounded like something out of Star Wars, maybe like the game of Dejarik Chewbacca and C-3PO played in Star Wars: A New Hope. Now, young Padawans can do that, entering a galaxy of adventure via Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures. Players can battle it out with lightsabers alongside favorite Clone Wars characters, fly starfighters, defeat droid armies and engage in countless day to day activities, all in an authentic Star Wars universe that mirrors exactly what they see on the television program. The game is free to play, but players can buy extras like costumes and accessories via an in-game currency called Station Cash.

With Christmas coming in just a few weeks, geeky moms and dads might want to consider purchasing the new Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Galactic Passport kit. It comes with the video game, a 90-Day membership, an exclusive unlockable character, 500 in Station Cash, cool wallpapers and videos, and my own personal favorite, a Yoda monitor topper. I was lucky enough to receive a review copy of rhw Galactic Passport kit, and while I was really tempted to keep it all for myself, I decided to pass it on to my buddy Tony and his boy Jake, a Clone Wars fanatic, for playtesting. I did keep the Yoda, though. (Sue me! Iy’m not perfect!) I heard back from Tony last week. Turns out that they had a blast!

While Ie’ll always treasure the memories of my own Star Wars, itn’s great to see that with products like Clone Wars Adventures the saga is continuing to adapt to the times. I cant’t wait until Jake and all of his friends are old enough to argue prequel vs. original saga with me: Get off my lawn you darn kids!
